Great addition to the Zombie genre. I liked the journal format of the book. The addition of pictures and drawings was a nice touch. I wasn't a big fan of the ending, I thought it was a little abrupt. Overall though, it was a very fun read.

Good zombie book. Engaging and not too ridiculous.

Despite some issues with the way the Journal format works, DbDA is honestly one of my favourite of The Zombie Novels. But in order to get context for this series you have to understand that this was a book that started being written in about 2003 or so. Zombie Books didn't really exist then and the concept of Zombies being popular was something no one would see until about 2009. So in case you are still interested this books is written from the 1st person point of view of a nameless Military Servicemen who has also been in the Intelligence Community. The book starts with the protagonist getting a journal for christmas and making a resolution to write an entry a day for the next year. Unfortunately the world begins to suffer from an outbreak of an odd illness in China. You follow the protagonist as he survives the end times using his knowledge and resources gained during his military career. If you are interested in Survivalism and a practical extrapolation of how to survive and thrive during a zombie apocalypse I highly recommend this book. However if you are just interested a gimmicky book you may not enjoy Day by Day Armageddon.

I really liked this book. It's not quite as good as World War Z but what is? I would have liked more detail about things. Part of a journal is documenting your feelings and thoughts just as events.

A bit too disjointed, and pretty much lacks an actual narrative structure. As far as zombie books go, this one is definitely not on the same level as World War Z.

Already read the book, but now I'm listening to the audio version narrated by Jay Snyder.

Great story. Mediocre writing.
