DNF. Audiokniha načtená autorem. Fascinující a zajímavé téma, doufala jsem, že se něco dozvím, ale očividně to autor napsal jen proto, aby se mohl vysmívat opozičním názorům. Dokonce ani není veden nějakou objektivní touhou po vědomostech, ale hned ze začátku dává čtenáři najevo svůj postoj: má za to, že transgender vznikli někde v laboratoři nebo v zaprášené studovně na univerzitě. Přepadává vědce s otázkamai mimo jejich obor a pak povýšeně kritizuje, že plácají. To se nedá ani poslouchat.

This book definitely made me think and was hard to read at times due to some of the more difficult subject matters. Matt Walsh sprinkles in these witty one-liners that frequently had me chuckling.

I had seen the documentary a few months ago on The Daily Wire. It was well done. Frightening and informative.
Walsh asks simple questions. There wasn't debate, he just asked questions and then the people he interviewed spoke for themselves. They demonstrate themselves with their own words how they don't make sense.
There were parts of the documentary not mentioned in the book and that is because it is best left for that format. What the book does do is go more in-depth about the history. Walsh talks about the dark and sinister truth about Hirschfeld in Germany, Kinsey and Money.
What is also dark and sinister is why they are pushing these ideas on children. The hormones and the surgeries will keep them as customers for life. Keep that machine running because it brings in big profits for Big Pharma and the doctors. And these mad scientist aren't honest about what these hormones and puberty blockers do. They aren't honest about the dangers and risks of infections from the surgeries.
These therapists and doctor should be in prison for lying to their patients and experimenting on them.
We're only starting to see the repercussions and I think it will be years before something is done about the abuse done to people who have transitioned. But as long as people keep speaking the truth then the truth will win.

This is good overview of gender identity theory and politics. I will say that while the author does attempt to avoid showing his bias, it is definitely apparent in his conclusions throughout the book. So go into the book knowing that. That being said, I felt it was well written and had some good points.
