Typical Cathy Glass book. It still shocks and horrifies me that the abuse of children is so prevalent

Tragic, as most of these stories are.

Oh my goodness, I have so much admiration for foster carers like Cathy Glass. A Life Lost is an emotional read, but it also highlights the need for more. I'm not in a position to foster although I had a private fostering agreement with my daughter to bring up my grandson, it's not the same. There was no support for him, us or his mother. Thank you for telling us Jackson's story, Cathy. Long may you continue x

Another excellent book from a fabulous author. Cathy is just such a lovely person and you can feel that she has the children's best interest at heart.
But the ending just broke me. I'm so so sorry for your loss and can't imagine the pain you went through, she seemed like an amazing person.
