3.5⭐️ strong start, sappy finish

I loved so much about this, though it was a touch brutal at time. Mostly in what your own imagination filled in.
All the worst parts were reported, never shown.

So much was really well handled, and loved the characters.
Disappointed considering the subjects included, that counselling was never mentioned, for any of them.
Also, more socialising for the FMC, she was too isolated with the guys. Transference would be a real concern in reality.

The kid would also have more behavioural issues than depicted. That was also made too easy

The money made things a little too easy at times, with her taking and accepting more easily than I felt fit.

So much I enjoyed here, but to touch on these strong ideas with such care and realism in one section, but not others, was disappointing.

But all up, a sweet, lovely, hopeful story.
Wishing we all could find such guardian angels.

Thanking the author for taking on such a difficult storyline.

What I liked about this one was that it was a non-paranormal reverse harem. Those are hard to find, but I think it really worked in this case.

All this growling, meowling and stuttering every other page?
It was WAY too much.
I did finished this book, but not for a second I believed in their chemistry.

This reminded me of my first introduction to RH
Cute, safe, heartwarming with a tiny pinch of spice

The theme of the book is one we all need
"Love and acceptance heal us
Violence and control break us"

I loved the characters and the story

Cliché and no connection to the characters. Limited romantic connection as well.
