This storyline has my full attention. While in book one I was thinking about all the different storylines going on at the same time and it being too much, I'm still feeling that way but it's much easier to keep track now. By far my favorite character remains Miss Aurora. I have teared up almost every time she interacts with the other characters and I have a feeling her story is going to devastate me. I am definitely a fan of the Baldwine boys and surprisingly, Gin is starting to grow on me too. Some things still remain predictable but overall, I remain eager to find out what exactly happened to William and what the fate is for BBC.

My only regret is that there weren't many scenes with Sutton and Edward but I understand why Mrs. Ward did it. Good sequel and I hope to see more of Amelia and Samuel T.

Better than the first one, but there is something about this series and how its written, it just does not build any suspense. This plot has so much potential but just falls a little flat.

4 stars. This series would make for such a great television series. There’s so much family drama going on and it’s a whole lot of fun. I really enjoyed the cheesiness of the first book but this one was so much better. It took a lot of turns that I wasn’t expecting and it was such a ride.

My main gripe with this and the main reason I couldn’t give it a full 5 stars is because the first 50 or so pages are really slow. I was a tiny bit scared I wasn’t going to like this but once I got through them I was absolutely hooked.

I liked the introductions of the new characters and getting the chance to know more about characters that had small parts in the first book as well. It never felt crowded or like overkill because they all ended up contributing and moving the story along. Speaking of the characters, the development they went through was on point. Especially Lane, Edward and Gin. I was especially surprised by Gin because I absolutely hated her in the first book but she definitely had the best character development and it was so subtle and a lot of fun to see how she was in the end. It felt realistic for someone like her which I appreciated.

I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book! That ending was even more crazy than the first one and I need to know what happens next! This series is so much fun. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a whole lot of drama and scandal.

I know this is silly but I just love these characters. I just preordered the next in the series which I haven't done since harry potter!!!
It is not perfect and there are times it is predictable, but I am sucked in!
There is a discussion of it becoming a television show - love the idea!
