I really liked this serial killer mystery. A little far fetched in a place or two, but I enjoyed it and will try to read another perhaps.

This was a super quick read. Started it 2 days ago and finished it this afternoon. It's fast paced, even when dealing with the relationship of the main character with his wife and the mystery is so intriguing you just have to keep reading to get to solve it.
I wasn't very happy with some of the resolutions, but overall I think it's an intelligent story and woudln't mind to follow David Gurney into another adventure.
Read somewhere the author said his ending was darker, but his agent or the editor, can't remember urged him to change it. I am so grateful for this. But won't say anything else, as I don't want to spoil it to anyone.

This book was AMAZING!!! I love psychological thrillers that keep you guessing. John Verdon pulls you in from the beginning and keeps you interested throughout all the twists and turns. The end was phenomenal.

I agree with other reviewers - story was interesting, interaction with wife was unbearable. Hopefully it improves in following books.
