I loved and was very impressed by the structure of the book. The documentary interview style narrative was creative genius.

The story dragged for me quite a bit. It got repetitive and I was sort of bored with it throughout. The characters were all fairly unlikeable in their own ways, so that wasn’t helping me stay engaged.

I really enjoyed the contradicting memories of the characters and the rapid fire changing of perspectives. I did have trouble keeping all the characters straight for about half the book though.

Lots of things I appreciated about this book and almost an equal amount of things I didn’t.

Had Miley Cyrus rock covers stuck in my head for most of the book, Daisy Jones was channeling her energy for me.

I listened to the audiobook version and it was fantastic. I was definitely tearing up at the end. It was a great look at relationships.
