God of Ruin features Landon, a psychopathic sculptor, and Mia, a nonverbal mafia princess turned muse with a darkness of her own. This MMC has already had a very large presence in the series, not only as the lead instigator of the rivalry but the cause of bumps in the road for ALL of the other couples' relationships. He does however have somewhat of a redemption arc, helping Mia  fight her way through her past trauma and regain her life. The third act reveal in this book didn’t quite land for me; it felt a little anticlimactic and didn’t blend in with the rest of the story as well as some of the other ones in the series.

Horrible book. The writing is mediocre and a complete replica of the rest of the books in the series. Apart from the main character, the rest of the characters are predictable and hard to love. Slow paced because some of the internal monologues (especially Landon's) are incredibly repetitive to the point where it gets boring. The plot in of itself is not only repetitive but predictable and unentertaining, the only contrast is Mia's backstory which adds interst to the story. The ending left much to be desired, it felt rushed and, in my opinion, was not thoroughly resolved. Honestly, we know what we sign up for when we read a smut book like this, but this book doesn't even meet those standards. This felt like a complete copy paste of the rest of the series, incredibly underwhelming and overall boring.

Landon is my least favorite MMC in this series.
He really is an insufferable unbearable character.
His story looks like a bit as Jeremy (God of Wrath) and I found many repetition a bit annoying regarding his character, as if there were nothing else to say about him.
Mia is an interesting character, fierce and strong despite her story… but again she has too similar characteristics with Cecily (God of Wrath).
Unfortunately the comparison with the previous book is to the detriment of this one.

I really do love the side characters though like Niko, Remy and Bran (as always).

The audiobook is narrated by Mackenzie Cartwright and Shane East.
It is a duet narration and it was perfect.
I think I won’t recover from Shane’s whisperings, anytime soon

This is probably my least favorite of the series so far. Which I was expecting, but it is still a good book.

As expected I still didn't like Landon all that much. He's still not my favorite character in the world. But I did like him and Mia together.

I love that he was willing to see things from her perspective and to try learning empathy for her. And I love that he helped her find her voice after the traumatic experience from her childhood. And I loved how much stronger Mia became and how she came more into herself with him.

I'm excited to get into God of Fury next and to finally get Brandon and Nikolai's story after all the teasers of them featured in the previous books.

Mia becomes the object of Landon's obsession, his muse.

My least favourite of the series.

Tropes: dark, psychopath, enemies to lovers, boy obsessed
