ok for the most part this book is fun. there are a few times when i would get a little tired of reed (i’m sorry idk why i hate her). the scene when reed sees the picture is crazy tense and i reread it like 5 times because of kirans reaction. i think the dialogue is still pretty cringy but again it was the 2000s. great plot twist. i didn’t see it coming despite already reading this book

it took a weirdly pretty little liars-style turn.

This book surprised me. I never suspected the killer, and I fell more in love with the twisted plot and subplots.
Unfortunately, the books that followed held less value and I feel the series kind of tapered out.

#readingprivate This was unexpected i was spoil in the plotwist but eve if know who the real killer was it was fun to read and its kind of stoping point. So from this moment you can leave it here or continue with the series.

I read the first six or seven books of this series back in middle school and loved it (it's very similar to my guilty pleasure, Gossip Girl and PLL). I've since bought the rest of the series but never got around to finishing it... So I decided to reread this and freshen up my memory!

In this volume, Reed does some investigative work to prove Josh’s innocence and ends up solving the mystery of Thomas’ murder. This is by far my favourite volume in this series (and I honestly wouldn’t mind if the series just ended with this volume).
