My favorite thing about these comics is that I feel like there's a potential queer storyline for Toph and I also don't feel foolish for thinking that because they've never queer baited in the past. Long live this beautiful and diverse world.

“Somehow I don’t think she’s going to come with us.”

This is a Toph B stand account. I stand behind everything she saids/do

A bit better than volume one. But still basically trite and obvious. But it's not like there was a huge amount of depth in the anime itself. Not a bad use of characters though.

I love disguises. I love secret meetings. I love larger discussions of societal worth when a particular demographic has the upper hand and everyone must deal with their place within the balance and come to terms if things are even fair in the first place.

I. Love. AVATAR!!!

Seriously though, this comic had some very cute moments, an interesting plot, some cool worldbuilding, great art, and a very good discussion on ableism.

CW: Ableism (not against actually disabled people, but on people who are disabled only in the context of the A:tLA universe).

This one has the familiar vibe of the original series which North and South lacked significantly. Best one so far after the Promise.
