Trigger Warnings include:
stalking, threats

Brody turns around from the group of boys who have finished their run and gathered around him. He pulls a baseball cap onto his head backwards and smirks at us, that sexy god damn twist of his lips that makes my belly flip. Christ.

We find out the kind of man Brody is right away. And somehow, he manages to keep getting better! Morgan was the woman he couldn’t take his eyes off of. And very quickly she becomes the woman he can’t keep his hands off of. He’s a proper gentleman, most of the time. He’s the kind of man Morgan deserves. I won’t say why they cross paths for the second time, but it is glorious! They very quickly both come to the decision that the things that could keep them apart, will not. If anything, all the drama and baggage only brings them closer. I was sucked in by their trust and comfort with each other. And the fact that they never tried to hide it, or any of their feelings, either. Morgan is willing to give Brody the space to come to terms with what is going on, but he won’t allow the space between them. It’s all or nothing. And he wants it all. They’re fun, their banter is easy. Brody never saw Morgan as a damsel in distress, but protected her all the same. She found the “unconventional things about him sexy, and I have to agree, He always waited for her to be inside her house before leaving. Helping her in and out of his car. My heart spent a lot of time in my throat with this one, always waiting for the next bad thing.

This may be my favorite month yet! Sports star hero and a single mom. How can you say no? Mr. September is so much more than that though. There is drama, suspense, steaminess and swoon worthy moments.

Brody spots Morgan across the bar and when he notices something suspicious, he jumps right in and becomes her knight in grey jeans. There is an instant attraction and instant chemistry between these two. Brody also turns out to be the head coach of her teenage sons basketball team.

I loved that Morgan was a super awesome single mom and that her son was a teenager. I love Brody, I mean how can you not?! He is super sweet, hot and not afraid to go alpha to protect Morgan. Morgan’s son, Ethan, provided a few laughs throughout the story. Much needed when it came to all the suspense in this one.

These Calendar boys are amazing and each month they just get better and better, but I think Brody is going to be a tough one to beat.

I've really come to enjoy the style of writing by this author. It's witty, feel-good factor with a touch of suspense thrown in for good measure.
I loved that Brody was a knight in shining armour from the start. A good guy with an alpha edge.
I loved Morgan's sassy side, but vulnerable when danger was at her door.
The dynamic of the three people in this relationship was great to read, which has a wonderful family element for Ethan that he clearly never had before.
Great read.

Mr September by Nicole S. Goodin is Book 9 in the Calendar Boys series.
This one is a sports/suspense romance.
Oh swoon - Brody “coach” Owens and Morgan “real estate mogul” Bradley were super cute and so was Morgan’s son Ethan.
I loved the suspense twist is this instalment as well. A very enjoyable addition to the series.
Bring on Mr October!

I received Mr September as an Advanced Reader Copy from Nicole Goodin. Before I dove in to the world of Brody and Morgan, I went ahead and binge-read all of the previous books. Although they are all stand-alone novels, I wanted to read the rest of them before I read this one.

Mr September is about Brody, an ex-pro basketball player turned coach and Morgan, a single mom to one of his players. These two have sparks from the beginning. When Morgan is threatened with random occurrences, Brody’s protective nature takes over and he wants to keep her shielded from whatever may be threatening her.

Brody and Morgan have so many sparks that it melts your kindle and makes you wish you could trade places. Morgan’s spitfire personality and Brody’s alpha take-charge attitude have you smiling, laughing and wanting them to have ALL the time in the world. They are everything and more.

The twists and turns have you turning the page to find out what happens. I’m the type to try and solve the mystery before it tells me and I am glad to say I was right in what I thought was going on. But this is a definite must read! If you like angst, sparks and alpha heroes, this book is for you!

Is there nothing this girl can't do? Seriously! She's gone and nailed it again, making me swoon over yet another hunky Calendar Boy!

Mr. September is something kinda close to my heart as it's about a single mum (which was me many years ago), and she has a witty son who is old enough to joke around about her dating, which adds to the fun of this story. Now, she meets Brody, our Mr. September, purely by chance, and the chemistry is instant! These two are just so dang cute together!

Of course, there's a little bit of angst in there too, but overall, it's just as swoonworthy as the rest! I don't think there's a Calendar Boy I haven't fallen in love with yet, and with only a few months left, i don't see it ever happening!
