I've got to confess I only skim read the fourth book, but the first three I enjoyed.

I love this show and decided I wanted to read the books. All 4 books are pretty far off from the show but had me just as on edge.

I loved this series!
If you already watched the tv show, you shouldn’t worry about mixing up the two because they have vast differences. Personally I didn’t mind that they were different and I saw it as a opportunity to experience two different story’s with a similar setting.
I thought I would read through this fairly quickly but it took me a while. I think this is because it didn’t like the second book as much as I did the others.
I think this is a great series and definitely worth a read. I would recommend this to YA and dystopian lovers.

It’s a sad moment when I have to give a book, 1 Star. What’s even worse is the show, “The 100” is one of my favorites!
I’m in shock the show was spawned from this book. Extremely boring and slow paced. Normally the book is supposed to surpass the show, but that was not the case here. Of course I love the idea behind the book.... but this was so lack luster.
If you’ve seen the show, and are interested in reading the books for comparison... I say HARD PASS!
Do not recommend.
The characters were bland... the book was confusing when it tried to switch back and forth between timelines. Also, it had the perspective from 4 characters which is fine.... yet it was all so bland and dry. I realize why in the show one of these characters was left out. “Her” part was extremely unnecessary in the book, yet I guess it was trying to show how they live in space... and the rules... but still unnecessary.
All my love for the show, but no love for the book.
