Absolutely loved book 2! Edin is, so far, my favorite monster. He’s so funny and lovable, but also hot as hell and so Dominant. The sex scenes are some of the best I’ve ever read, with the perfect mix of sweet moments and erotic descriptions. Hunter is also a very lovable guy, so loyal and brave. I loved getting to see his inner conflicts throughout the book. I also love the representation of Hunter being an amputee. I’m not an expert but it seems like the author did her research about prosthetics, and amputees in general. I really hope Hunter and Edin pop back up in other books because so far they’re my favorite couple!

God I’m really loving these books.
First up, Hunter - I love that grumpy asshole. He’s fierce and loyal to the core, and whilst sometimes too stubborn, it all comes from good intentions. It was amazing to see him become more loose with the help of Edin. His devotion to his friends and the ones he loves is honestly one of the best things about him; he’d do anything for them, and that’s the best kind of person ever.
Edin - this sweet overgrown monster was just too adorable for his own good. This guy has had his sufferings but is still a sunshine at heart. His continuous worry over Hunter is adorable, along with his friendship with Wyn is adorable.
Charlie - I want to hug this man so much as he sounds like a cinnamon roll. His brotherly friendship with Hunter is something that everyone wants with a best friend.

Also more of Danny and Wyn? THANK YOU.

I will proceed to read anything this author now produces - her writing is amazing, with so much lush characterisations and no over the top descriptions of the surroundings, it’s just great.

What a journey! I loved the evolution of hunter. He’s such a fiercely loyal guy and while he was so mistrusting at the start he couldn’t help but fall for edin once he started getting the feels. You can tell he’s a seasoned soldier and the difference between how he and Danny were written was very clear which was interesting. There was parts were I thought my heart would burst from the adrenaline and the worry from the tense situations but so glad I hung in there. Such an amazing second book to this series
