This is a really neat look into the world of wine as seen by the people who love to love it. (Don't expect a detailed look at how wine is made; that is touched on, but not the focus of the book.) I enjoyed listening to the audiobook for this one especially—hearing the correct pronunciations for these wines and producers was a big plus.

However, I plan on continuing to enjoy wine mostly the same way I already do. I will utilize sommeliers more than I have in the past, and I will focus more on the wine experience before I drink it, but I am not going to worry about how well I can do in any blind tastings. For me, the description of a good wine (presented in the last third of the book) as "yummy" and "one that makes you come back for a second sip" is as far as I need to go with it.
