This was an enjoyable read with typical Lucy Score drama, but enough unrealistic stuff to drop my rating a little. I mean who moves in with and shares a bed with a guy they just met?!

The MMC was very pushy about the FMC opening up about her past (low key toxic) and then shut down when she asked him to reciprocate. MMC acts like an emotionally immature chimp most of the time.

it took a minute to adjust to the 3rd person writing and a bit longer than usual to connect to the characters but i love harper so much, she’s an awesome human and i love how fierce she is.
i was not a fan of her violating luke’s most painful traumas. whilst he should have already told her what had happened sometimes it takes time to let down those walls and open up, and although i would also want to snoop so badly it just felt wrong when she did that. that being said luke was a dumbass for refusing to admit that he obviously loved her but i understand the reasons behind why he was being like that. the 3rd act breakup was way more painful than i was expecting and the proposal through acts of service and words of affirmation at the end brought tears to my eyes.
i loved this little town and i love aldo and gloria so much and can’t wait to read their book.

Another great Lucy Score book. Loving this series - potentially my favourite of hers so far!

I love a story that takes me on a rollercoaster of emotions. Between the back stories, romance, and supporting characters, I felt everything from sadness to giddiness to laughing out loud and even some anxiety. Harper is a pure ray of light that Luke needed in his dark world.  The ending of this was such a beautiful touch, and as a whole, this book made my heart happy.

I was surprised how much I liked this book! I found Harper very lovable. Don't let the G-rated cover fool you, this is one of the filfthiest books I've ever read.
