I give this book  4.5 ⭐️’s the reason why I took off a point is because I would have really liked for the kids to be able to meet back up with their parents which didn’t end up happening in the book. However, I did enjoy the character development that happened in the book with the one twin boy having his face stuck in his game boy and the other one being overly hyper and climbing at the tree in the forest to both of the twins actually being in the moment and trying to figure out how to get back to their parents. I also like how the sister ended up being grateful for the fact she had twin brothers even if the only reason was because the beast wouldn’t eat them.

I really wasn’t sure about this book. I think because it follows a different format I just wasn’t keen. Within like 4 chapters the monster was in the book whereas normally it takes more build up to reveal the monster. It was still enjoyable I just thought it wasn’t as ‘goosebumpy’ as the hooks normally are.

Loved the adventure of this book.  The setting and plot worked well together and it was something out of the norm with some of the other Goosebumps books.  The characters were okay but not my favorite, at least the twins weren’t.

It was interesting to read this for the first time as an adult! (It is [or was] my bf's fav R.L. Stine, so I picked it up.) I went at it hard, ready to analyze and critique this and that, but by the end, I was just reading it for fun.

¡Demasiado entretenido y creativo! Un gusto leerlo en la noche. Pude sentir la desesperación de los personajes, jeje. Lo leería de nuevo definitivamente.
