I absolutely loved this book. It was kind of confusing but in a way that kept you pushing on to find out more.

I had to sit on this one for a bit after finishing it.  The first 1/2 of the book was damn near creepy perfection.  I loved it.  Unfortunately, it had pacing issues in the second half that caused the story to become so disjointed to me, but it didn't feel intentional.  I'm definitely interested and plan on picking up other works by this author.  The writing and premises of this was good, and I think I'll end up reading a 5 star book by Marshall.  It feels inevitable.

EXTREMELY LIT YA horror.  Beautifully crafted world, unpredictable plot twists, compelling relationships, weird creepy vibes. Like the podcast TANIS meets Annihilation meets a YA crime novel with a ghosty twist. I listened to it in a day. Severely underhyped.

Spooky ghost labyrinth adventure. This is a really fun, atmospheric book! It's definitely eerie, but doesn't quite tip over to outright scary. Scaredy cat friendly! It's definitely dark, but there's no outright violence. I really enjoyed this and will likely reread the next time I want to get in a spooky mood
