I am really conflicted with my thoughts and feelings with this book. I really enjoyed the first book. The second book left me feeling a little meh. I have so many different reactions to this book.

Overall, the conclusion to this story was how I thought it would end. Maybe not the details of the things that happened, but I saw the actual ending coming. It was really the only way this story could have ended.

The twists and turns in this story (from start to finish), while good ones, didn't necessarily flow so well for me. They just kept coming left and right in no particular fashion. In this book, they came at the reader hard. If I'm being honest, they left a sour taste in my mouth. Once I connected the dots in this book, I wasn't so on board with the outcome.

I have come to the conclusion that maybe this series just wasn't for me. There were things I don't look for in a book. I know there are many people who love those things, and those are going to be the ones who love this series.

My neck hurts from all the whiplash. This book was 350 pages of anxiety, plot twist after plot twist. It was Raven having epiphany after epiphany and me sitting here understanding nothing but loving all of it.

Major ick though: “female”. Meagan, why? Please don’t reduce cis-women to their parts and refer to us as females. Just, ew.

SPOILERS
- the new situation with Raven seems random and unnecessary… maybe it’ll add something to the story in the next book

I’m not even sure how to give this series a proper review because I feel like there is no words that can describe how much I love this series.

RAVEN AND MADDOC - completely unmatched. Raven rules all, she has been beaten down her entire life and made to believe she is trash but she is a god damn queen and she rules her kingdom. Maddoc - A very over protective bad boy who knows what he wants & that he is going to get it.

The plot, the twists, the spicy scenes?!?! I read these 3 books back to back and I have no regrettttts. I’m severely hung over. Send help

I read these books in this series one straight after the other so my review for all three will be the same since it was basically one big book!
Sweet Jesus the DRAMA!!! Please leave any reality expectations firmly at the door!
This was an absolute train wreck of a series but I couldn’t for the life of me tear myself away!
Oddly enough Maddoc wasn’t my favourite and that’s why there’s no five stars here! I even feel wrong giving it 4 but to be fair I couldn’t do anything but dive into the next book and feel completely bereft not that it’s over.
All I will say is this! Oh Captain my Captain! He was my absolute hero!

This is one of the best trilogies I've read in quite a while and I'm in the middle of blood and ash. But this is in a whole other ball game.... amazing. Love me a great female Character who can hold her own but chooses to be vulnerable. Which is a big trend right now and who isn't here for it. This was well done. As well the writing Brady has given us is fabulous.

No words to describe this series! This book was full of so many twists, I read it in one night, I couldn't stop reading! I loved the relationship and the love between Raven and the other two brothers just as much as the main romance between her and Maddoc! I adored these characters and can't wait to read Cap's book!

I’m definitely in love with Royce omg. The couple Maddoc Raven annoys me most of the time. And Captain is so sweet.

I think Reign of Brayshaw is my favorite book of the serie.
It was more interesting, in my opinion, than the two others books perhaps because there were more revelations, i don’t know.
But I think there were maybe too many plot-twist and it was hard for my brain to follow sometimes.
It’s still hard for me to accept the fact that 17-year-olds teenagers control an entire town. Raven could be really irritating but I found her more independent, strong, and she was less under the control of Maddoc than before. I don’t know if I was the only one who wanted to punch her when she was doing everything Maddoc told her to do, I mean girl he isn’t suppose to dictate your life!!
