This book is sooo good. I read it one sitting, it pulled me in from the first page and I couldn't put it down. And now I desperately need next one. :)
Lyra works in Chicago Police Department. She started working there when vampires became public knowledge and her handler disappeared. She is strong and fast, a hunter. Born to hunt vampires.
After chasing creature she stumbles on vampire, that is also on a chase. Later she finds out he is FBI agent working on the same case. She hates him, likes him and somehow ends up working with him.
Lyra is the kind of hero I LOVE. She is smart and can seriously kick-ass. The book is so action pack, there is no dull moment.
Highly recommend to anyone who loves urban fantasy.
