I feel like I can see where this book is going. And I'm feeling icky about it. This is a better show of a toxic relationship rather than a cute little romance.
"You seem like someone who likes exotic foods". And trying to feel up the guy on their 2nd date. Ick

I wanted so so badly to love this. But it read like a Wattpad one-shot. The only person in the entire story I liked was Devin. E is the main thing this story had going for it. That diversity is all I found to enjoy. Not my cup of tea whatsoever.

- Okay, I liked this quite a bit. The ending was good.
- I was a bit iffy at the start and it took a bit for me to get into it. I didn’t really like Noah to begin with but he had a lot of character growth and I liked him overall.
- I like Brian, he’s a good brother and dude in general and I wish I got to see a bit of him at the end. Becca was also a good character and I liked her.
- I knew from the start I wasn’t gonna like Drew. To begin with I felt no connection and worried it would be insta love or some shit but it thankfully wasn’t. He was just an ass overall and can go somewhere else.
- Devin was so sweet. I loved their friendship and how it felt real and natural when they got together. E was just really sweet and I liked how it shows eir struggles with eir anxiety and how e kept trialling out different pronouns to see how they all fit. It felt natural and normalised which I loved.
- I also loved what Noah decided to do with the diary, and it felt like a satisfying end which was nice.
- I didn’t like this as much as the authors other book but it was still an enjoyable read.
