Definitely picked this up because preseason started and I needed a little bit more football in my life loved that the Bears were included in this just the tiniest bit because they’re my team but overall I enjoyed my second dive into sports romances. I think with my current reading mood, I was hoping for a bit more smut spaced out between the big moments of the book and not as much fade to black but I get that’s not the type of story the author wanted to write. I appreciated Taylor so much as a character and the amount of growth she experienced. Just seeing how she constantly worked to battle the struggles she was facing while constantly having confidence in her ability to be a fitness professional was amazing to see. The relationship between her and Jamar was really good too and I loved the sexual tension throughout! Would definitely be willing to read some more from this author.

The second book in the series and the spunky female protagonists continue! I seriously love the women in this series, but I have to say that I loved how down to earth this book was too.

Taylor has a loud personality – in the absolute best of ways – but she also has dreams she’s struggling to pursue, a man she finds herself attracted to but shouldn’t be with for moral reasons, and a strong hatred of school and learning.

Farrah Rochon tackles the importance of people being in your corner in this book – from friends to partners to teachers and medical professionals. Taylor discovers her hatred of school likely stems from a learning disability that was never diagnosed, and with the help of everyone around her, her dreams are within reach.

I love this series so much – each book is phenomenal. I’ll be sad to see it end.
