Really enjoyed the last part in particular, the philosophical dive.

3.25 I may have come in with the wrong expectations, it seems the story is used to explore different philosophical questions about meaning.

I found the main character rather interesting, I definitely found how he tackled situations to be bizarre and I guess while continuing to read it was meant to show his atypical perspectives. These interactions were thought provoking and interesting to explore.

I enjoyed the story and do see how there is a lot of detail in the albeit simple work that could be deeply analyzed to somes enjoyment.

If “they just don’t understand -_-“ was a classic set in Algeria with an unlikable mc.
Explores so many different topics including the prison system, violence, grief reactions, and overall being misunderstood in the context of life and responses to it.
