<Spoiler> Wow. I can’t believe it’s over. I sobbed so hard while reading this book. The ending was predictable from like book 5 but it was done so well I’m not even mad. The final battle was so intense and the characters suffered great loss….of a single chimaera? Seriously that was a little disappointing. I understand John making it out but making literally everyone survive seems too convenient. I really liked how everyone got a unique ending though, it was more realistic and made the ending more final.Â
This series took such a positive turn from where it started. It’s really come around and ended up being something great like I didn’t expect. I don’t actually know if this is my favorite in the series but the emotion? The resolution? The finality? Definitely a 4.5 stars.
