More pretty good fantasy from Robin Hobb. This is a complicated, dense world, where monsters aren't necessarily monsters and nothing is really as simple as it seems. This is very much the middle book of a single story--the ending isn't bad but it really just leads on to the Ship of Destiny which I am really looking forward to. The audio book worked very well and the reader was great.

So many different plot lines, and all of them interesting and well written. I am very much enjoying this trilogy.
