This was a very fast read. Some reviewers are referring to this book as a romance novel, but I really wouldn’t call it that. If anything, it’s the story of a man and the relationship of trust he builds with a dog and a litter of puppies.

É um livro que mostra o quanto um amigo de 4 patas faz falta...

The Dogs of Christmas is a very cute book and it reads very, very quickly. The downside is that as soon as you put it down and begin to think anything beyond "puppies!" things unravel. I still don't understand why I should root for Josh and Kerri or really anything about Kerri at all other than she's an animal lover with a mother who wasn't the best. Nothing else about her, and that's a shame.

A heartwarming holiday read! As always with this author, I was near tears once or twice (in a good way!), but the ending cheered me and made me feel that Christmas-y warm and fuzzy feeling. The characters were believable and relatable, and the dogs were adorable. While it was just a little rushed, being a touch shorter than Cameron's other books, the only thing that really bothered me is wondering what the heck happened to
SpoilerRyan
? He was a jerk, but I still wanted to know whether he ended up in jail or something. But that wasn't a big deal at all.

Highly recommend for anyone who loves Christmas, and dogs.

Very fun! This is a bit on the sappy, romantic, feel-good side and I loved it! And, not only does it have dogs, it has puppies! What's better for a Christmas story, right? I really enjoy Cameron's dog books, and will probably read them all before I'm done. This one isn't quite as good as "A Dog's Purpose" and "Journey" but I still really enjoyed it. Perfect for the holiday time of year!

Absolutely loved this book. As a dog lover myself I could feel every emotion that Josh was going through. Definitely needed the tissues for this book.

Book Review: The Dogs of Christmas by W. Bruce Cameron ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another great book by Cameron! This one had me choking up a couple of times, but in a good way. It was so heartwarming (I know I’ve used that for a lot of my reviews lately) but it really was! I loved this story and it’s really 2 love stories in one! If you love dogs and you love love, I would recommend reading this book! #bookreview #bookrecommendation #booksofinstagram #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookishbounds #christmas #dogsofchristmas #dogsofinstagram #wbrucecameron #dogbook #booklover #booknerd #bookworm #readersofinstagram
