I really liked it for the most part, but after finishing, I feel unsatisfied with the actual practical tips. The questions to reflect on sure are helpful and so are some of the concepts presented! But I don‘t think becoming my own secure base through mental reframing and meditation is going to be the solution to my problems or even possible in teh way presented here. I also wish the book didn’t focus so strongly on monogamous couples that want to open up.

I recommend the medium article Devon Price wrote after reading this book, called “Thoughts on Jessica Fern’s Polysecure”.
