Oh I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook of Gerald Durrell's memoir of his life on Corfu.
It was full of humour regarding his family and the animals he brought home to live with them.
Some of the situations were so ridiculous, they made me laugh.
I enjoyed his style of writing and also enjoyed the narrator, Nigel Davenport, who was able to convey individual voices to the characters without becoming irritating, which I think is a feat in itself.
A lovely easy listening book.

Love! So funny and touching! Got bored occasionally at 3 page descriptions of bugs. But the descriptions were exceptionally well written and easy to skim so don't let that turn you off of the book. It's truly a lovely lovely read.

I read this back in high school and remember being charmed by it. Must go back and re-read this and the rest of the trilogy. Didn’t realize it was one.
Yeah - more to add on my TBR
