I have fond memories of this story about seasons, especially the butterflies page.

Oh I loved this book when I was little! I loved the illustrations so much! The bunny and his outfit and especially the mushrooms fascinated me! I need to see if I can find it! Oh nostalgia — take me home !
I remember one page or set of pages where there was rain! Beautiful and my favorite. 🐇

This book is amazing. Seriously, bunny is the shit. He hangs out under toadstools when it rains. He chases dandelion fluff. All while being cuter than buttons. Look at his overalls!!!

I adore this book for it's beauty and simplicity. Charming book about seasons for early readers.

One of my favorites as a kid, so I had to get my son a copy when he was a baby.

Iris loves this so much: a typical storytime right now is just three times through I Am a Bunny. I think she likes it partially because of the birds ("bur!") featured throughout. I like it because of the illustrations, which have sort of an old-timey botanical drawing style combined with a weird sense of scale (the bunny is smaller than a flower?!) that makes it feel just a little off-kilter. As my dad likes to say, "Kind of weird, but really good."
