Fast and Cute

A quick read with monster MM that was a mental fight!! Santa and Cupid going head to head and they both won.
It was spicy, heartfelt, funny and charming.

This was a fun, quick read. However easily forgettable. I was forgetting the plot as I was reading.

Maeve Black Is quickly becoming a must read author for me. I love this world she has created. This novels are fun quick reads.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of Val continuing to run away. It got so repetitive especially in a book this short. They spent so much time getting together which was a shame because the best parts are when they're together. I don't feel like I got enough of them in the book. I would have love to see them explore the scene and boundaries or how to be together like anything because they're so cute.

I guess the biggest problem for me was that it felt like nothing happened. This book is low on plot. But while there was character development it didn't feel earned or central or necessary or the romance. So it feels like nothing happened. I don't mind fluff, but I wanted something any substantive.

If you like the first one you'll probably like the second entry as well. Loved getting to see more of these characters
