This is a great read if you want to think more deeply about the game series. It does a great job of explaining whatever part of the game being covered, so even if you aren't familiar with every title you can still enjoy. I love how it's written by different people between sections, so it covers multiple points from the same games. The authors explain all psychological concepts for the reader prior to covering how it applies to the game, so no outside research required!
