The writing style is really hard to follow. I found it to be too much of a struggle to figure out who everyone was and understand how they were connected.

The writing in this book was innovative and bold. It searched for authenticity and representation of the Turkish community in London, in particular the Turkish Cypriot community. I liked the immersion in it. The character development was also strong.

However, when it comes to the plot, the topic was not particularly interesting to me, there were too many characters and to much back and forth in time to make the story cohesive.

Overall, I enjoyed and I am glad I read it.
