I loved this book! Though it deals with dragons it doesn't read like a science fiction-type book, but more of a fantasy/fairy-tale. This book propelled Jessica Day George to my favorite author list and I'm currently working my way through everything she's written!

I’ve reread this book a million times since getting it when I was 10 and it’s beautiful every time. One of my dreams is to get the whole series.

I enjoyed this story a lot. It reminded me somewhat of Shannon Hale's fairytale stories but with a more humorous slant. I had never heard of this series but the author was at a conference my mom went to. The story was interesting and novel. I think it is a great book for various age groups- middle school to adult- whether or not they enjoy fantasy novels.
