Distinctly curious premis - slightly surreal in places ( the pelican ) but well written with a humorous touch and intriguing link between two distinct narrations . Ending was a little unsatisfactory .

Flawless written dual storyline about a Victorian lexicographer who made up words and the modern day woman who’s charged with finding them.
I loved this. It was funny and exciting, even romantic. Not just a fun read about words but also a statement about love and being honest with yourself. Plus it was just damn fun. A mystery thriller with blood, sex, bombs, and words.
