Another fantastic book in my new favorite series. I love the dynamic between Georgia and Sid and how close they are. Throwing in Madison and this makes for a hilariously functioning dysfunctional family. I found the mystery itself to be very unique because it was never 100% certain there was a mystery and so there was little to no police involvement. Georgia and Sid come up with some very creative ways to snoop and I loved following the trail with them. The pacing of the ending was a bit quick, going from being totally stumped to the drama that ensued, but overall so much fun and I can't wait to continue!

The book was good, but I think the concept is terrific. A skeleton that lives in the house and talks to his family. How very creative. Love it!

This second book in the series was just as fun and enjoyable as the first. The plot moves quickly and had me engaged from the beginning. I love the family dynamics between Georgia, Madison, Deborah, and Sid. Each one brings something different to the stories and I enjoy how Deborah is coming around where Sid is concerned. The author does a wonderful job of humanizing Sid so that he seems almost human even though you know he is a skeleton. The mystery is woven nicely into the story and while I did guess the motive for the murders, I was surprised at the identity of the killers.

This is a wonderfully entertaining series and I am off to request the next book from the library. I can't wait to see what trouble Georiga and Sid can find in the next book.

Every family has some skeletons in the closet but the Thackery family keeps their skeleton in the attic, and the living room, and the kitchen....really he goes wherever he pleases in the house. Rarely does Sid get a chance to leave the house and is elated to be able to accompany Madison to high school AND have a part in the school play, Hamlet. Every day Madison packs Sid in a bowling ball bag and takes him with her to school then brings him home at night. One day Madison accidentally forgets Sod in the auditorium and he just happens to over hear a murder being committed. The next day Sid launches an investigation to find not only the murderer, but also the victim!

this series is a lot of fun. it's different from any other cozy series I've read, and Sid isn't just a gimmick. it does not seem wise to bring him to school as a prop - someone would notice it's a real skull and have questions - but you obviously have to suspend some disbelief for this story. I enjoyed the family scenes, the characters from Georgia's work at school, and the mystery.

a talking skeleton solves murders with an adjunct english professor. you can't make this shit up and no synopsis can do it justice. all you need to know is that the skeleton has a neopets account and watches doctor who. and the skeleton puns. DEAR LORD THE SKELETON PUNS.

this was exactly what I wanted to read righ tnow and I'm so happy it exists.
