I so enjoyed this book. It was about the mystery surrounding the sinking of the RMS Lusitania. The story was told from the voices of three different characters and spanning two time periods. There lots of plots twists. The characters were well developed. I will definitely be looking for other books by the authors.

Really wanted to love this book, but it was just okay. It wasn’t as thoroughly researched as some other historical fiction I love (Kate Quinn, for example), and the characters occasionally felt 2-dimensional. An impressive collab with 3 authors, but not a 5-star read.

3.5 stars rounded up for good writing with a okay ending. This seems to be a theme lately for me... the writing on the 3/4 of the book is spot on. Then I get to the last 1/4 and the ending is just okay. I did appreciate the epilogue and seeing that Sarah was able to circle back to Robert. But even so the ending was too quick and somehow took too long at the same time. Aside from that I enjoyed the writing and it was a quick enjoyable read.

This book is historical fiction, showcasing the RMS Lusitania sinking in 1915. I enjoyed the mystery, historical fiction elements, and characterization. I felt like the characters needed more complexity beneath the surface, but I did enjoy the strength of the women. Lots of romantic triangles, which was interesting, and while I liked the resolutions of all three, one relationship needed more development earlier on (although I was rooting for that one because of the female). It was like a Hallmark historical fiction lol.
