I had some high hopes for this book, my mom talked it up but I was bored, I've been reading it about 2 weeks now. I keep setting it down to do something else, lot of personal narrative that just didn't engage me. I usually read books in one sitting if they're interesting & I just can't put it down, this was definitely not one of those. The writing & descriptions were good but not a good book for me.
