I‘m all for dark romance and the love interests being possessive assholes but I personally just don‘t like dubious consentÂ
The main character literally just got sexually assaulted and a few hours later the love interest has sex with her with rather dubious to no consent and after that takes her home where she falls asleep and the love interest again sleeps with her while she is unconscious but this time he definitely did not have consent (they were in a relationship a few years ago where she consented to him having sex with her when she sleeps but they hadn’t talked about it again and I don’t think consent from a few years ago carries over) Â

loved this book- i read it so fast. ML had to let go of FL bc he became a mafia boss, and she thought he chose that life over her but he just had to make sure it was safer for her before she came with him. FL gets into trouble and needs him to help her and he bargains with her. He is obsessed and I loved this.
