Diana might not love the life she's living, but she's got plans for a better future and that future is almost within her grasp. Enter Kirn... He sees this small female and decides that not only does she need saving, he's the one to do it. One of my favorite things about this story is the way that Diana is the strong, stubborn, broken one and Kirn is the gentle, loving, patient one. He is more than ready to devote his whole world to loving her, but she has a lot of walls put up to protect her. They are going to have to break down those walls to reach their HEA, and what neither of them know is that the past is trying to catch up to them in a not so pleasant way.

An easy to read, romantic and steamy sci-fi romance

This book describes itself as a sweet, steamy romance and that's exactly what it is. It's well written and fast paced, with two very likeable characters in Diana and Kirn. Personally I'm not a fan of instalove (which this is) and would have liked to see them spend more time together prior to arriving on New Vaxx. I know we were told of conversations they had but experiencing them would have better convinced me of their connection.

Alien Giant is a low angst read, where any problems faced are quickly and easily solved. Having just read several dark and twisty books, this was the perfect antidote. A palate cleanser of the first order, that wraps you in a warm hug and leaves you feeling content. It's a fun read and a perfect piece of escapism.

As a sci-fi fan there were times when I wanted more world building, more challenge for the hero and heroine. BUT the book never claimed to have that, so I haven't let that affect my rating. In fact I believe those type of books are written under the authors other pen name of Sue Lyndon, and I look forward to reading more work by both pen names.

Felt way more 'plotty' than the previous two... which is no bad thing!
