Honestly I enjoyed this thriller up until the end. I was engaged, thinking about it, wanting to know more. I thought some of the issues were dark and disturbing and that the author did a great job making you feel tense - but that ending! 🫣 I believe most people who enjoy thrillers will find this one entertaining, though I’d look up some content warnings.

This may be a personal preference but I could have done without the graphic, descriptive blow jobs. Honestly, the first one I just was like whatever, disgusting but this shit happens… but the constant mentioning of the things Kira had to do to survive and then have Kira make an offhand joke about herself and the situation, and the MOM repeat that pattern on the dad?? BARF. But again… personal preference… 😂

What a ride! The Power Couple kept me on my toes and this layered story was gripping from beginning to end.
