I really enjoy this spin-off series from the main group of Pendergast books. Nora has been a great character since the beginning and I like that Corrie is coming into her own as a woman. However, it's kind of irritating that Pendergast swooped in at the end and basically solved the whole thing instead of Corrie & Nora. I think I would have preferred if he would have met up with Corrie after-the-fact for a brief wrap-up and to encourage her to continue her growth as a special agent instead of stealing her thunder at the eleventh hour.
