When were shifter Lajos Farkas was asked to drop off his brothers mates dog at her friends, he never expected to be attacked by a woman. Meisha is always on heightened alert and finding a man in her kitchen can only end one way, with him laid out on the floor.

Lajos tries to shake Meisha from helping him, but she is one determined woman wanting to help her friend. His wolf though knows she is their mate and the human side of Lajos is struggling with having a human as a mate. With lives in danger, Meisha and Lajos try and work together, but it is not going as smoothly as both would like.

Meisha is a delightful handful, she has had to be tough and I think that Lajos is a perfect match for her. Highly entertaining, I was captivated from the very beginning. Definitely one to pick up.

This is my review and how I see it. In Lover Claimed, author A.M. Griffin gives us a different breed of wolf shifters. In book two of the Dark Wolf Enterprise series, Lajos brother of Kristof Farkas. The prologue of this book begins with Kristof speaking with their alpha and older brother Andras about the firm he hired to vet out the embezzler. While it was an interesting way to begin a story I wish the author would have lead with Lajos first, this is his is story after all.

Meisha is Trudy's Black-Asian American best friend, who gives Lajos a reception he won't soon forget. Lajos has is dropping off Trudy's dog to Meisha 's apartment, she comes home to find an unexpected visitor and commences to kicking his assets. Lajos does not know what hit him. These two are like oil and water, he tells her to stay put and she does the exact opposite.

On the hunt to find out about the Russian wolves and who hired them Lajos and Meisha (mostly Meisha) head into danger first and ask questions later. This wolf shifter has met his match in every way with the least likely possible a human female.

You won't get bored reading this story.

This book is for anyone who likes something different, like wolf shifters who can control the minds of others.

The author has provided a free copy of her work in exchange for an honest review.

This is my review and how I see it.

Having already read book #1, I have to admit that #2 was very different.
I knew from the beginning that Lajos and Meisha would mate, but this time imprinting was different and I have to admit I really liked it! Our couple are both used to being independent and keep having trouble with each other. Not to mention their mutual aversion to mating!
As the book takes place in the same time as #1 it has elements of adventure, but of course the sexy element is never away!
A very nice read for the lovers of shifters.
I am giving 4.5 stars, 'cause it didn't blow me away!
