I could not put this book down! Luckily, it was an audiobook that I had on my iPod, so I could actually do a few things while I listened to it. The story was gripping and the characters believable. Can't wait to read (or listen to) the rest of the trilogy!

Okay, I was late to Harry Potter and I'm late to this...but I raced through it today and was riveted. No, it's not the greatest writing in the world, but the story is amazing. Well worth an afternoon at the pool.

This is the… gosh! I don’t know how many times I’ve read this book. But it’s the first time I’ve listened to Tatiana Maslany narrate it. I will tell you that her voice lends to the character of Katniss perfectly and I loved it so much!!
This is and will always be one of the most incredible books I have ever read. I can read it every year and it never gets old. I always hurt for her when Prim’s name is called in the reaping. I cry every time Rue dies in the meadow. I cringe when the mutts return with the contestants eyes… this is like a familiar blanket I’ve pulled from a closet to put on me before bed during a thunderstorm. I know it’s going to comfort me.
I love the world that Suzanne Collins has created and wish that she would continue writing books set in it. Just maybe not about Snow…..
