If I could give stars in minus, I totally would.

wow !!!

an absolute 5/5 read and my new favourite in the series. i read this in less than 2 days and i feel absolutely no shame about it because damn, it was such a rollercoaster.

i loved the concept of evil jace + johnathan and tbh when clary joined them , it was super cute until the end. they would have been a powerful trio.

i loved seeing each character's plotline and development throughout this book but THAT MALEC ENDING ?! cassandra clare , you will pay for my tears because you did not need to do that to me. and i'm SO damn interested in maureen now like ... we need to see more of her in heavenly fire.

anyway, i'm totally running to the final book now which i'm super sad about BUT i may or may not have impulsively ordered the infernal devices trilogy after seeing will's name appearing too much in this one...oops.

*sigh* 3.5 stars (If I wasn't irritated the entire book with the protagonist, it might have been 4.5)

Clary is still an impulsive, spoiled idiot but the story line around her has gotten better. Clary and Jace STILL irritate me (surprise, surprise). But I'm glad that there has been some progress with the other important characters. Izzy and Simon have moved forward; Maya and Jordan LEAPED forward, lol, good for them; and Alec and Magnus kinda moved forward and then moved backwards. For the sake of those characters I will continue with the next book because I want to see how their story stories play out. Clary and Jace could die in hell fire with Jonathan at their side within the 1st 2 pages for all I care I'm sooooooooooo sick of them!

I got so sick of hearing bout Brother Zachariah "owing the Herondales" or whatever. We get it, he's Jem. Please don't ever mention it ever again because we get it they have a blood bond, they were Parabatai, etc. etc. I swear to God the series got worse after she decided to include things from TID in it.
