A bit too Insta love for me. For someone who just broke up with her fiancé and wanted to explore her bisexuality she just hops into another long term commitment. Which fine, but I wish we’d have seen her try to date at least.

This was a lovely, easygoing romance. I am usually more of a fan of slowburns, and while this isn't a physical slowburn, it is an emotional one. Amy and Sophie will leave you kicking your feet and shaking your head as you root for them and their restaurant

It was kinda awkward in many places and I didn't vibe all that well but I can see why others probably like it

I ultimately gave up on this one, it’s not poorly written but the structure frustrated me. I would have wanted the story to start when the head chef starts, and to see her discover her attraction to the owner while seeing the owner grapple with her crush instead of just being told that it’s been simmering for 8 months. I want to care when they kiss but this just left me unsatisfied

This was a cute book! And the spicy scenes were *spicy* indeed, which was great.

The plot just kind of bored me, I had to take breaks and read something else in the middle.

It was not bad, and the writing was good, just maybe not so much for me…
