book can be broken into three parts. sex, descriptions of food, and the characters getting tortured and traumatized over and over.
the backstory specifically given to reyes feels kinda racist and needlessly over the top. but all the characters in these books have traumatic and convoluted backstories for the sake of drama 🤷♀️

Reyes Caldero kept to himself for the most part. He had demons in his past that he's been fighting for years. He never felt he was worthy of being happy, not with the things that he's done. Even when Reyes knows it's a bad idea, he can't help but want to be around Miles.

I loved Miles and Reyes. Reyes was so gentle and aware for Miles. I loved seeing Miles gain his confidence.The amount of trust they needed to give to each other to give their relationship an honest try was hard but they made it worth it. I can't wait to see what's next in this series!

Reyes keeping his secret for as long as he did was frustrating but I will say this book and this couple are my favorite of the series so far.
Greg Boudreaux really makes this series if he wasn’t narrating these I doubt I would have finished book 1.
I am still thinking about if I will continue with the series but I did like Shawn in this book soo maybe…(probably will) lol

Audiobook — Miles and Reyes were adorable together. I really enjoyed listening to their story unfold and loved seeing them getting to know each other.
