Not great, it was a bit too slow for me, I think it's because there's too many view points it would be better if it was only from 2or 3 characters view points
Graphic: Death, Gore, Torture, Blood, Kidnapping, Murder, Abandonment, Alcohol, and War

Well, this book was an experience.
I did really like the concept of this book and I was super excited to read this book because I love Sasha Alsberg. I still love Sasha even though I didn’t really like this book.
Now, the main problem I had with this book was the characters. They felt dry and boring. I felt no emotion/attraction towards the main character. I wouldn’t care if she died. Then Dec just annoyed me throughout the entire book and I wished he would just go away. Break and Gilly felt like the same character so it was like double the annoyance with that character. Lira was okay but then again I didn’t feel anything for her but if I had to pick a favorite it would be be her.
The plot had a lot of potential, I just don’t think that it lived up to that potential. It barely scrape the edge of that potential and it just could have been better. I also think that the whole book was leading up to this epic battle and then we get to that point and it just didn’t do it for me.
Basically the characters were dry, the plot fell flat and I do not plan on reading the sequel.
