I'm not sure if the previous books were just a bad timing in my personal life, but I loved this again like the first one in the series. I was reading it before going to a steampunk expo and meeting Gail Carriger for tea in a few days. I'm so excited!

What a wonderful ending. I laughed and loved loved loved the cameos and strings tied up. Sigh

This is my new favorite of the Custard Protocol series. I have always loved the twins so a chance for more Percy was amazing. I loved Arsenic right away and how well she fit with Percy and just how bold and confident she was and being a doctor! I enjoyed that they both knew how they felt pretty quickly so there was none of that 'oh they don't like me' or 'what is this odd feeling' tropes that drive me nuts. Not to mention their perfect who is in charge when dynamic.

The over all book had the perfect mix of romance, adventure and found family. I loved the new shifter lore, the wedding and seeing our old favorites, the intellectual banter of Arsenic and Percy. It was just a very enjoyable ride. The epilogue made me overly fond and desirous of more stories of the far away past. A perfect end to this series!

Seriously fun and beautiful way to wrap up the series. Well well well worth the wait!

I loved Percy and Arsenic together, plus all the other queer side characters/storylines, too. Definitely a favorite, and will probably read it again and again and again!
