Didn't think this could live up to its incredible hype and fantastic Ted talk, but it completely did. Absolutely fantastic, couldn't put it down.

First book I've ever read about running-- loved it. Learned some new things, enjoyed the story, decided to run more.

One of the most intriguing non-fiction books I've read in years! Was hooked from start to finish.

White guy writes about and mystifies a North American tribe. This book is not good. It plays fast and loose with facts and reliable narration, while also constantly dipping into the vibe of a guy at a party telling you "running will solve all your problems" and "if you can't run it is because you are running wrong". Disabilities aren't real and there is no need to do other things, everyone simply needs to run. However...
distance running is just the best thing! I love it so much. I wanted to go running the entire time I read this, and I am ready to take off right now thinking about it. Fun running history facts and learning about other running weirdos was so enjoyable. This is my year of enjoying kinda bad books apparently.

Interesting but also didn't grab my attention. I know that sounds weird. The book jumped all over the place.

Brilliantly written. Facts are woven in and statistical data I usually roll my eyes at so well-placed you don’t realize how much you learned until it’s all over. A riveting story. Runners will be able to connect closest to the tale, but this book can be appreciated be all.
