Well, not as good as the first book. I really enjoyed the first volume but was really underwhelmed by this one. Some questions were finally answered (sort of) but I didn't enjoy the way the mystery went as the story progressed. I was kind of just bored with this story. So probably just not the series for me. I'm sure lots of other people will enjoy it, but for me, it was a miss.

I find with these comics that the story isn't my favorite, but I still really enjoy the artwork and the characters. Overall, this series is fun and worth a try if only for the beautiful artwork(:

I'm so annoyed because at the end of volume 1 I thought Damian Wayne was going to be a permanent character! I'm so disappointed. It would have been so cool to see him interact more with (more-or-less) normal children. I also found myself re-reading some pages because I wasn't sure about the action. I felt some panels relied too much on us filling in the in-between ourselves. Oh well. I'm still interested in the story, especially in Olive's, and I love the art, so I plan to keep reading.

It is really quite rare for a comic run to be so consistently fantastic for so long; and doubly so for Gotham Academy, which has the task of introducing a whole new batch of characters and must balance their newness with a well established fictional world (I mean it's the Batman for crying out loud...what is ever truly new with Batman).

This series just continues to amaze every time.

Could not wait and read the single issues, as available. I enjoyed it as much as the first volume, super fun!

I received the ebook in exchange for an honest review

Everytime I try to get into comics. It's not my favorite genre. This volume is quick paced and very different. The comic contains different stories, so you don't have time to get bored. I liked it...

DC's really getting worse. New 52 is crashing, like I feared it would when they released the timeline. They're pushing so hard that they aren't doing what they should - take their time and do a good story. That's what's most important, the story. How the characters fit in the world they've built, and they built a shitty world with a craptastic timeline, stripped key points of characters (or just stripped characters entirely, see Batman vol 7), and put it with a thrown together script and we got what we have now.

My brother's given up entirely on DC thanks to this, and I'm close to following. With all the others stories going on in Bat Family 52 I'm really disgusted right now. This is barely a 3. Probably closer to a 2.
