The best of these might cause you to crack a smile or chuckle at the #relatable content. The worst are obvious, repetitive, and just not that funny. The authors come at certain actual political topics, and certain pop culture elements, from angles that are just...odd.
Also, as with those mildly amusing (then increasingly annoying) "Porn for Women" books of yore, I feel the need to point out that the idea erotica for this feminist would have, you know, some actual fucking in it.

Oh, God, this is fucking hilarious. The authors imagine a world where feminism rules and the male-dominated stories get turned on their heads. And everybody’s happy about it.

A good read for IWD - short satirical takes on the usual scripts...

Excellent coffee table book to ignite you to get off the couch and fight the patriarchy. I was definitely chuckling the whole read and got most of the references and points made. It's a subtle thinker that's really fun to dive into if you have the time and brainpower to imagine this "ideal" world described. It did get a little one note after a while and very 90s/2000s feminisms and not so much 2020s. But hey, times change and print will always be slower than word of mouth and current movements. I understand the critiques of it being "white woman feminism" but I think then focus of the book was more so sexuality than general intersectionality of sex, race, gender, etc. despite the claims of the authors. They wanted to play it safe because it's not their voice to share those stories. So I see it as respect and boundaries more so than an intentional or unintentional decision to not explore those topics.

Honestly i'm kinda bummed I spent money on this book.
Nothing was terribly bad about it, but I am definitely not going to read it again. It never really got to its core of what it could have been in my opinion. Most of the jokes fell flat, and were written with superficial overtones that left me uninterested. It would be a cute almost-gag-like gift for someone. The first page drew me in and the first section was my favorite, but after that it all felt unchanging and unoriginal.
